SYNOPSIS

They went to the place where they stood at the threshold of life ----eight year old Richard and Joan, neighbors from birth who were due to inherit two of England’s greatest fortunes when they turned twenty one – and with them, ageless Timothy, who knew the secret of the English land and showed them what they must do.

There among the magical Druid Stones, set in a mystical circle, they made the wish that would keep them forever as they were – young, fresh, innocent and wise. For they had seen the things that live in wisdom: the strong, quiet horses, the dogs and cats that move with calm assurance in the way it is theirs to go; and the trees and plants that draw the stuff of life from the warm, dark earth.

They knew which was best- but they could not know that Joan's aunt and Richard's uncle, along with their lawyers and doctors, would claim that their innocence was insanity in order to steal the fortunes they were to inherit.
